UCSF has an immediate opening for a postdoctoral fellow to work on projects in radiotherapy physics funded by an NIH grant.
The successful candidate will take responsibility for specific projects that match the candidates interests and qualifications. This work is being conducted in conjunction with the successful, ongoing TOPAS-nBio initiative. The successful candidate will have ample opportunities to contribute to the FLASH and TOPAS-nBio teams, both informally and through group meetings.
Required qualification:
• PhD in physics, medical physics, or closely related discipline.
Preferred qualifications:
• Working knowledge of Monte Carlo simulation in medicine.
• Knowledge of radiotherapy physics.
• Experience collaborating with interdisciplinary teams.
