Validation of Monte Carlo simulation tools
Experimental benchmarking of any model or theory is indispensable, and Monte Carlo simulation models are not the exception.
Our team collaborates closely with several institutions to rigorously validate the physics and chemistry processes within OpenTOPAS and TOPAS-nBio simulation frameworks.
Additionally, we actively participate in the G4MSBG task group of the Geant4 Collaboration, where we contribute to establishing a regression system, here. This system facilitates the comparison of measured data to simulations across a wide range of Geant4 applications in the field of medical physics.
